Judge Grants Immunity for Defense in Murder Trial

SAN FRANCISCO - Superior Court Judge Lenard Louie on Wednesday swept aside prosecution objections to immunizing statements by an accused murderer, his attorney and his expert witnesses during a competency hearing and ordered that they cannot not be used as evidence at a guilt trial.
