State, three phone companies finalize $12 million settlement in '07 wildfire
The California Public Utilities Commission approved a $12 million settlement agreement Thursday, resolving issues surrounding the involvement of three telecommunications companies in the 2007 Malibu Canyon fire.

The California Public Utilities Commission approved a $12 million settlement agreement Thursday, resolving issues surrounding the involvement of three telecommunications companies in the 2007 Malibu Canyon fire.
The approved settlement requires the three companies -- AT&T Mobility LLC, Sprint Telephony PCS LP and Verizon Wireless -- to pay $12 million, divided equally between the companies. As part of the settlement...
