Justice Department to merge bankruptcy offices

In an effort to cut down on costs, the U.S. Department of Justice is planning to consolidate two of its California field offices.

Facing pressure to shrink its real estate costs, the arm of the Department of Justice that oversees bankruptcies is preparing to consolidate four of its California field offices into two.
