California justice and San Francisco lawyer recognized at Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference

The 9th Circuit honored Associate Justice Judith L. Haller of the California 4th District Court of Appeal and Sanford Svetcov, partner at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, this month during the closing session of the circuit’s judicial conference on Maui. Haller received the 2012 9th Circuit Professionalism Award from the American Inns of Court, while Svetcov recieved the 2012 John Frank Award established by the Judicial Council of the 9th Circuit. Both awards recognize “a lawyer or judge whose life and practice display sterling character and unquestioned integrity, coupled with ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession and the rule of law.”
