LOS ANGELES - A superior court jury awarded Hollywood financier David Bergstein $50 million in damages late Tuesday in his legal malpractice case against his counsel of many years, Susan H. Tregub.
The jury found Tregub breached her fiduciary duty and committed professional negligence by turning against her client and working with creditors to force five of Bergstein's companies into bankruptcy.
