MGA Entertainment returns fire in insurance spat

In yet another chapter of a lengthy legal battle, MGA Entertainment Inc. has filed a cross-complaint against four insurances companies seeking a cut of the $140 million in attorney fees it was awarded after last year's trial verus Mattel.

In yet another chapter of a long-running legal battle that has spawned multiple lawsuits, MGA Entertainment Inc. returned fire on its insurance companies with a counter suit claiming the four carriers are not entitled to reimbursement from $140 million in attorney fees the company was awarded after winning its copyright infringement trial last year with Mattel Inc.
