Marks Finch Thornton & Baird San Diego Specialties: Corporate real estate, federal procurement and claims


In July, Demian helped Layfield Environmental Systems Corp. close the largest lease transaction in eastern San Diego County in the past five years.


The deal enables the company to more than double its industrial space, moving from a 30,000-square-foot location to a 67,344-square-foot site on a seven-year lease. Demian said he hopes it denotes a positive turn for the market in the county.


But he hasn't let his work stagnate in the downturn.
