MoFo Sues Client for $11 Million

Morrison & Foerster is going on the offensive to recover what it says is $11 million in unpaid fees and expenses from a Japanese electronics company.

SAN FRANCISCO - Morrison & Foerster LLP is going on the offensive to recover what it contends is nearly $11 million in unpaid fees and expenses from a former client. In a lawsuit filed June 3 in San Francisco Superior Court, the firm alleges breach of contract and other claims against Funai Electric Co. Ltd., a Japanese company MoFo represented from 2007 to 2010.
