L.A. Looks to Speed Class Action Settlements

The new policy of allowing judges to transfer class actions to Central Civil West solely for settlement approvals has lawyers watching anxiously to see if the benefits will out weigh their concerns.

LOS ANGELES - Eric B. Kingsley was nearing the final stretch of litigating a five-year class action last month when the attorney got a surprise.
