Acting Appellate Chief Named
Justice William F. Rylaarsdam will serve as the acting presiding judge of the 4th District Court of Appeal division in Santa Ana, Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye announced Monday.

Justice William F. Rylaarsdam will serve as the acting presiding judge of the 4th District Court of Appeal division in Santa Ana, Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye announced Monday.
The division's longtime presiding justice, David G. Sills, retired June 1. Sills had previously named Rylaarsdam, the court's senior justice, to act as presiding justice when Sills was unavailable.
