Shareholders Score Win in Toyota Litigation

A federal judge said she will likely allow plaintiffs' lawyers to proceed with large parts of a proposed securities fraud class-action against Toyota Motor Corp.

LOS ANGELES - Shareholders suing Toyota Motor Corp. for securities fraud for failing to warn about the defects that led to massive recalls in 2010 won a victory Monday when a federal judge declined to dismiss their proposed class action.
