Lawyers See Tactic in Trade Group Win

A Northern California builders group won attorney fees against the city of Santa Rosa, atop successfully beating back a local measure creating higher taxes for owners of newly constructed subdivision homes.

In a good sign for home builders who challenge local tax ordinances, a builders' group won nearly a quarter of a million dollars in attorney fees against the city of Santa Rosa. The win comes in the wake of their success beating back a local measure imposing higher taxes on owners of newly constructed subdivision homes.
