Family of Beating Victim Sues Dodgers

The beating of a San Francisco Giants fan in the Dodger Stadium parking lot has triggered a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Dodgers and the team's beleaguered owner, Frank McCourt.

LOS ANGELES - The near-fatal beating of a San Francisco Giants fan in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium sparked public outrage and a debate over the team's obligation to provide a safe environment. Now a lawsuit set to be filed today on behalf of Bryan Michael Stow and his family is expected to test the limits on the liability of the team and its owner.
