The White House announced Wednesday the nomination of Alaska Supreme Court Justice Morgan Christen to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. President Barack Obama tapped Christen to take the seat headquartered in Fairbanks, Alaska that opened up after Judge Andrew J. Kleinfeld took senior status last year.
