WASHINGTON - In a case with implications for land-use matters in California, the U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday it would not hear a developer's challenge to a city's rent control ordinance.
The high court's rejection of the case preserves the decision by a divided panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholding the law.
