State Bar Approves Consumer Alerts

The State Bar will soon post large "Consumer Alerts" on its webpage warning the public against lawyers charged stealing $25,000 or more from clients.

Anyone looking for attorneys on the State Bar website soon may spot a large "Consumer Alert" atop the profile page of any lawyer accused of stealing $25,000 or more from clients, thanks to action by the bar's Board of Governors Friday.
