Lawyer Convicted of Fraud

A federal jury Friday convicted Irvine attorney Gerald L. Wolfe of using falsified mortgage documents to buy 30 houses in four months in a scheme that defrauded banks out of at least $2 million.

SANTA ANA - After only 90 minutes of deliberation, a federal jury Friday convicted Irvine attorney Gerald L. Wolfe of using falsified mortgage documents to buy 30 houses in four months in a scheme that defrauded banks out of at least $2 million.
