Cooley Godward: EBAY PLACES WINNING BID FOR PASADENA ONLINE SITE

Online auction site eBay Inc. has acquired HomesDirect of Pasadena. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. San Jose's eBay offers a cyberforum for selling merchandise, such as collector's items, memorabilia and assorted antiques. Its subsidiaries also provide for the trading of mass-market goods, autos and auto parts.
