Digital Software Groups to Combine $140M Images
Peabody, Mass.-based ScanSoft has agreed to acquire Los Gatos' Caere Corp. in a deal worth more than $140 million. The transaction is expected to be completed at the end of April.
Peabody, Mass.-based ScanSoft has agreed to acquire Los Gatos' Caere Corp. in a deal worth more than $140 million. The transaction is expected to be completed at the end of April.
According to the terms of the acquisition, Caere stockholders will receive $7.75 in ScanSoft stock and $4 in cash for each share held.
