Fugitive L.A. Lawyer Arrested for Insurance Fraud

A Los Angeles lawyer who was a fugitive for six months in a large auto insurance fraud case has been arrested, prosecutors said Monday. Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Harvey Giss said he just learned Stanford Lau had been taken into custody about a month ago. Clearly annoyed he was not informed sooner, Giss said he was trying to learn details of Lau's arrest, including when and where he was apprehended.
