Pasadena Lawyer William Tookey Remembered

Private services are planned for retired attorney William Anderson Tookey, who died Sunday . He was 76. "He just loved the law. He would take on the lowly person's cause, he would challenge the police," said his wife, Nancy. She recalled that once her husband even accepted a turkey in exchange for legal services from a person with no other means of payment.
