Its Official: L.A.'s Superior and Municipal Courts Finally Unify

Unification of Los Angeles County's Superior and Municipal courts finally passed Friday, with 63 percent of the formerly reluctant Superior Court judges supporting it to form the largest trial court in the nation. Twice, the Superior Court bench had voted overwhelmingly against the merger.
