Six More Claims Filed in Rampart Scandal

In the latest in a stream of filings, six more claims have been filed in connection to the Rampart Division corruption scandal. Attorney Gregory A. Yates filed the claims Friday against the city of Los Angeles in the scandal touched off by fired Officer Rafael Perez, who in a deal to get a lighter sentence for stealing eight pounds of cocaine told authorities about alleged wrongdoing within the Rampart Division.
