Land sale paves the way for new Marriott
San Diego - Huntington Hotel Development, a Texas-based company, purchased 4.5 acres in Kearny Mesa from LNR Kearny Mesa Inc. for $4.9 million. Huntington is earmarking the site, located in the San Diego Spectrum master-planned community, for a four-story, 246-room Marriott Courtyard Hotel. Christine Anderson of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller. Dave Smith of Business Real Estate represented the purchaser.
