UCLA replacement hospital under way

Los Angeles - The construction firm McCarthy began work on a $7 million demolition contract, representing phase one of the $582 million UCLA Westwood Hospital Replacement Project. The new hospital is part of a $1.3 billion hospital and research complex, expected to be the largest construction project ever built by a public university.
