Investment management firm acquires Coronado apartments for pension fund

LaSalle Investment Management purchased Oakwood Coronado Apartments in Coronado on behalf of a pension fund. The property, which was renamed Coronado Bay Club at closing, sold for $55 million.

"As the only investment-grade multifamily property on Coronado Island, Coronado Bay Club has a unique competitive position," says Richard E. Van Wert, LaSalle vice president, who negotiated the deal on behalf of the buyer.
