Motorist Sues to End Toll Lanes

RIVERSIDE - The battle over the controversial and unpopular toll lanes on the 91 freeway appears a step closer to court. Both the Riverside County Transportation Commission and a commuting lawyer from Corona have taken legal actions designed to keep a private company from operating two lanes of the freeway between Irvine and Corona. The most serious challenge to the toll lanes is a lawsuit filed by the county on Dec. 22, Riverside County Transportation Commission v.
