The class-action mania going on around the country is a little like Regis Philbin's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" Just as the magnitude of the public reaction to the show is inspiring lame knockoffs of Regis' pride and joy, so too has the splashy impact of the tobacco cases resulted in a spate of ill-conceived and ill-fated class suits.
