Justices Tilt Against Limiting Patents in Licensing Case
Taking up a high-stakes patent case for the computer industry, the U.S. Supreme Court voiced skepticism Wednesday that a South Korean patent holder could license its invention to chip-maker Intel Corp., then bring patent-infringement claims against downstream computer manufacturers that purchased Intel's products.
