Associate pay raise up to $180,000

After nearly a decade of flat associate pay at the nation's largest law firms, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP said Tuesday it would increase compensation for entry level associates to $180,000, sparking large firms in cities on both coasts to follow suit.
