State Supreme Court orders Commission on Judicial Performance to withdraw its complaint against Ventura judge

The case of Ventura County Superior Court Judge Nancy L. Ayers allegedly having a disruptive dog in her courtroom takes a turn after the state's high court ordered the Commission on Judicial Performance this week to withdraw its "stinger" letter or state why it shouldn't.

The state Supreme Court ordered the Commission on Judicial Performance to withdraw its "stinger" letter to Ventura County Superior Court Judge Nancy L. Ayers for keeping a service dog that was allegedly disruptive behind her bench, or explain why the complaint shouldn't have to be withdrawn.
