Incumbents reign statewide in judicial elections

In 25 contested judicial races across California, nine new judges were minted, eight kept their seats, and eight seats will be decided in a Nov. 8 runoff election.

In 25 contested judicial races across California, nine new judges were minted, eight kept their seats, and eight seats will be decided in a Nov. 8 runoff election.

While 10 judges were initially challenged in May, ultimately none were ousted as their opponents withdrew or were outspent and lost.
