Longtime federal public defender Quin Denvir died Saturday in Sacramento. He was 76.
His death puts to rest a four-year struggle with a chronic, incurable lung disease, according to a longtime colleague, who noted that Denvir did not say much about his health problems, and those ailments had only become pronounced in his final days.
