Attorney general declines to file charges in OC courthouse brawl

A senior assistant attorney general in San Diego notified the parties her office could not determine who was the initial aggressor or who may have been acting in self defense.

The state Attorney General's Office declined to file criminal charges over a March fistfight that erupted inside the Orange County courthouse in Santa Ana between a district attorney investigator and a criminal defense lawyer arguing about the ongoing jailhouse informant controversy.
