Salesforce to buy Demandware for $2.8B

The prodigious Bay Area internet company announced Wednesday that it plans to buy e-commerce company Demandware Inc.

The prodigious Bay Area internet company Salesforce.com Inc., maker of online customer support platforms for businesses, announced Wednesday that it plans to buy e-commerce company Demandware Inc. for $2.8 billion.
