Judge Keeps Reporter Out of Jail

SAN DIEGO - An hour after an appellate court denied a writ seeking to keep a Union-Tribune reporter out of jail, a Superior Court judge found the reporter in contempt but stayed an indefinite jail term so that the newspaper's lawyers could request further judicial review.
