Refinery OKs Settlement in Worker's Deaths
SAN FRANCISCO - Tosco Corp., which suffered one of the worst accidents in Northern California refining history when four workers were killed in a February 1999 explosion, has agreed to pay $21 million to settle wrongful death claims brought by the families of three of the dead men.
