Misconduct by Judge Leads to Verdict Reversal
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Ideman, who is currently presiding over the trial of alleged SLA fugitive Sara Jane Olson, aggressively questioned witnesses in a previous drug trial in an apparent attempt to help prosecutors, a state appeals court ruled Tuesday in reversing the defendant's conviction.
