Award Reversed Due to Juror's Actions
An $851,000 civil judgment awarded to nine people who were inside a house mistakenly targeted in a 1997 Los Angeles Police Department drug raid was reversed Tuesday, in part because one of the jurors, a district attorney's law clerk, gave his own set of jury instructions during deliberations.
