Rights Lawyers Said Not Welcome on Panel

The general counsel of a panel investigating corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department recently told a group of civic leaders that civil rights lawyers aren't welcome on the panel because the LAPD would not "buy in" to the panel's final report, according to four attendees at an April 28 meeting.
