Cyclist Appeals Doping Decision

LOS ANGELES - U.S. cyclist Floyd Landis has filed an appeal of the decision that in September cost him the 2006 Tour de France victory, his lawyers announced Wednesday.

      LOS ANGELES - U.S. cyclist Floyd Landis has filed an appeal of the decision that in September cost him the 2006 Tour de France victory, his lawyers announced Wednesday.
      The appeal was filed this week in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, the court of last resort in such cases.
