Retired LA County judge released on bail after firing at police

James Bascue, a former Los Angeles County presiding judge, was arrested Thursday and booked on a charge of firing at police officers who answered his 911 call reporting armed intruders in his home.

Bail was set at $100,000 and Bascue was released from jail after about 12 hours in
