State’s high court reverses death sentence, nixes conviction

The state Supreme Court on Thursday voted unanimously to overturn the death sentence of a convicted robber and murderer after invalidating a second-degree murder conviction because of double jeopardy.

of convicted robber and murderer Tommy Adrian Trujeque after invalidating a second-degree
murder conviction because of double jeopardy and setting aside prior murder and multiple
