State high court to see if university's expansion plan squares with environmental law

The high court will hear oral argument later this month on how far the university must go to comply with CEQA as its pushes forward with expansion plans around the state.

education, it is proposing major expansions of some its campuses - but the projects
are running into trouble as local officials claim the university is shirking its duty
