WASHINGTON - Congressional Democrats pointed to the U.S. Supreme Court decision blocking a colossal gender-bias class action against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. when they reintroduced the Equal Rights Amendment on Wednesday.
"The Wal-Mart case decided by the Supreme Court this week is a classic example of how far attitudes must still come," New York Democrat Rep. Carolyn Maloney said in a press release.
