Samsung Knocking At Apple's Door

Apple Inc. could be forced to allow attorneys for rival Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to see its next generation iPhone and iPad in a discovery battle that will be considered by a San Jose federal judge today.

Playing hardball in a patent and trademark infringement battle with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Apple Inc. persuaded a federal judge to let its lawyers take an early look at its competitor's unreleased cell phones and tablet computers in discovery.
