I was disheartened to read Robert Abiri's article "Dodging the Effects of Proposition 51" (June 10) in which he discusses the Brian Stow lawsuit against the Dodgers. Abiri, whose firm's Web site says it handles personal injury matters on behalf of injured plaintiffs, complains of the "irony of proposition 51" and "avaricious plaintiffs' attorneys"?
