A woman who suffered internal burns after a Lake Tahoe casino worker mistakenly gave her a bottle of acid to drink, will receive $3.25 million in damages.
On Monday, a San Francisco County Superior Court jury returned the verdict, which includes economic damages plus $2 million for plaintiff Julia Ellis' pain and suffering, and $1 million to cover any pain and suffering she may endure in the future.
