Toyota Plaintiffs Dealt Setback

A federal judge has ruled that a nationwide class of Toyota vehicle owners can't be certified under California law.

Dealing a major setback to plaintiffs suing Toyota Motor Corp. over alleged unintended acceleration, a Santa Ana federal judge shot down an attempt to certify a nationwide class under California state law.
