Computer networking giant Cisco Systems Inc. is buying NuSpeed Internet Systems. The stock deal is valued at $450 million. San Jose-based Cisco is the world's largest maker of computer networking equipment. With the technology of Maple Grove, Minn.-based Nu-Speed, which links storage and communications networks, Cisco can put data and storage networks on one infrastructure.
